By now you should have chosen your report topic, began researching it, and have put some kind of draft or idea of what you want to say down on paper. This is where you should submit Step 2.
Step 2: Submit your draft here for 50 possible points. Your draft may be in outline form, the beginning sentence of each paragraph, an abstract, the entire report, or any format acceptable by the instructor, but it must include at least four references in APA format. The instructor may provide feedback on the draft, so watch for it to be returned to you through Grades. The rubric for this draft can be found under this submission area or under Course Resources.
As a reminder, Step 3: Your final written assignment requirements:
- Follow the Written Assignment Rubric carefully! The Written Assignment Rubric is different than the Draft Rubric and can be found in Modules 01 and 08, and under Course Resources.
- Your paper should be 3 to 5 pages in length, double-spaced, using Times New Roman or Arial size 12 font with 1” margins all around and in APA format.
- You must include in-text citations in APA. If you are uncertain as to APA formatting, refer to Tutor.com (a link is in the course menu) or Purdue OWL. (Links to an external site.)
- Include a cover page and an APA formatted reference page with at least four references; your textbook can be one. Submit your paper using the Submit Assignment link.
