Now that you have spent some time reading some key works of fiction, you should have some ideas about what makes a piece “fiction” (and not another genre).

Take one of the works of fiction that you are familiar with and, in a 1-2 page Word document:

• Identify and explain the elements of fiction within the story.
• For example, you might write one paragraph on where you see characterization in your story and another one on the point of view(s) in your story.

It is strongly advised that you make use of the textbook to find a story if you do not have sufficient experience with fiction.
