The essay requirement is meant to demonstrate that you have the writing skills to succeed in the MPH program. Your essay must be in response to one of the following: Explain your understanding of the rigors of graduate education and the MPH program. Describe a time when you had to overcome a challenging situation and how this may relate to your success in graduate school and the MPH program. In your opinion, what is the top public health crisis facing this generation? Essay Requirements: Your intended start dateNameEssay prompt/question to which you are respondingWrite 350–500 words on your chosen topic (approximately one page in length). *Must be submitted as a Microsoft Word document Adhere to professional writing standards. Organize your essay using well-constructed paragraphs and show consistent command of word usage, grammar, punctuation, sentence construction, and spelling. Do not cut and paste material from other work and/or information found on the internet. It is not permitted and will not be accepted. Please note that during the faculty review process, your essay will be submitted to an anti-plagiarism software to confirm there are no concerns regarding academic integrity and plagiarism.
