Although other grieving models are essential in social work, such as the Westberg Model of the Grieving Process, I chose to use the Kubler-Ross model. I decided on the Kubler-Ross model because it is the most familiar to me. The Kubler-Ross model accurately and efficiently describes the grieving process.
