Employee Benefits Specialist
Reporting to the Human Resource Director of the organization, the employee will be responsible for developing, maintaining and updating employee benefits and retirement programs which is a significant component of overall compensation for employees under minimal supervision
Duties of this position will include:
Overseeing the design, development and implementation of employee benefits procedures and programs
Perform research and analysis to determine the best compensation program that befits the organization’s structure, industry and size
Supervision and evaluation of staff
Negotiation of programs
Stay updated on shifting federal and state regulations that could have an impact on the employee benefits
Design and develop life and accidental death as well as dismemberment insurance and disability insurance.
Advising the organization’s management on the resolution of compensation and benefits disputes.
Design and development of a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to meet the needs of an increasingly dynamic workforce
Planning, designing, assessing and communicating techniques for compensating employees
