The series of research assignments We did are designed to help you successfully complete an original research project using historical arguments, analysis, and information obtained through credible sources. This project, as indicated above, must connect to one or more of the themes we will study. You must include and critically analyze a variety of primary and secondary source documents in this project to support and argue your main thesis. Projects should be well written in narrative form, free of major typographical errors, provide proper citation of sources.
Format/Technical:
1.All essays must be typed, 1500-2100 words in length, double-spaced, 12-point font, and 1” inch margins.
2.No title pages.
3.Your name and section number should appear in the upper left-hand header.
4.Choose an appropriate title, type it on the first line of text (centered), and then begin your essay immediately after.
5.Do not use long, unanalyzed quotations to fill up space! These will be penalized.
6.All essays should be thoroughly proofread; essays with typographical errors will result in lower scores.
