Each student will write a 5-7 page paper on a non-productive or even destructive conflict that he or she experienced in an organizational (job) setting. The submission must be typed, double-spaced, and have uniform 1-inch margins in 12-point Times New Roman font. The organizational analysis will contain the following sections and information:
- Background, history and circumstances that led to the conflict. What job did you have when the conflict occurred?
- How/why did the conflict escalate?
- What could you have done to cause the conflict not to have occurred?
- How was the conflict resolved?
- What would you have done differently, based on what you have learned in the class? And what will you do differently in the future.
