Step 3: Written Portion: Project description: Analyze the scene. Using as many chapters from Bordwell that pertain, note the techniques (by category), define, describe, and identify where each technique is located in the scene, and discuss how the technique tells the film’s story and/or scene story. The paper also needs to examine the form and meaning; this can be done in the introductory summary of the film.
