“Okja” is director Bong’s sixth feature and connected to “Snowpiercer”, and both contain a chilling ecological or environmental warning. “Snowpiercer” confines to a high-speed train that circumnavigates the globe continuously and is populated by the last inhabitants of the frozen earth. Meanwhile, Okja concerns the friendship between a young girl and a giant manatee-style creature who is genetically engineered to provide the planet with cheap meat.
