A call to action (This is critical…now that you have my attention, what do you want me to do)
Note:
· The speech should be about science and reason (real facts or the truth) and the fight should be against misleading information and pseudo-science (alternative facts or lies).
· Do not start with “I have a dream” please write a different sentence to begin with the speech
· Note from the instructor: I am readings early submission speeches and there clearly is a problem…Your I Have a Dream Speech is about you leading something…not yourself but a mass movement…it must have the five key points of a leadership speech…look at the assignment….and finally there must be a call to action…as MLK said “march with me, go to jail with me…It must end calling your audience to do something…to everyone that submitted early you can resubmit if you choose.
