STRONG SUGGESTION: Do preliminary reporting on this story idea. Reach out to talk to somebody who is knowledgable or involved in the story. (You will need to do this for the next assignment anyhow). Talk to them about the idea. You will, I guarantee, learn more about the feasibility of the idea.
