Looking only at the position titles and career areas (and not at the information provided on the links), explain two insights or conclusions that you can draw from this site about career possibilities within the early childhood field.
  2. As you have learned, accommodating diverse learners is a characteristic of quality care and education programs. Choose one of the four jobs highlighted on the Personnel Improvement Center: Career Development Web site that is of most interest to you. Describe the role of this job in ensuring that children who may have special needs are supported in an early care and education program. Explain why the job appeals to you and what else you would need to know to consider it as a career direction.
  3. Based on the EmploymentJob Outlook, and Projections Data for each of the four positions from the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook Web site, summarize the job prospects for these positions in the early childhood field from now through the year 2016, and include the related figures from theProjections Data charts in your explanation. Then identify one or more positions that are of most interest to you in considering a career direction, and explain your choices.
