Refer to textbook before you begin writing. Form must be addressed in sufficient detail. “Form enables the artist to shape our particular experience and interpretation of that content. In the world of movies, form is cinematic language: the tools and techniques that filmmakers use to convey meaning and mood to the viewer, including lighting, mise-en-scène, cinematography, performance, editing, and sound—in other words, the content of most of [the] textbook.”
Then cite specific examples in each of the categories outlined in the rubric to support the filmmaker’s higher-level form and content strategies, include timecode and/or provide a detailed description of moments in the film.
