Part 2: You can earn 15 points by watching the documentary “Chasing Ice” on netflix and then writing a 1 page summary and reflection (12 pt, Times New Roman, double spaced). The assignment is pretty open, but in your summary/reflection you may (but don’t have to) address some of the following questions
Was this film surprising? Why or why not?
How much did you know about global warming/glacial retreat before watching the film?
How has it changed (or not) your view on global warming?
After watching this film, do you think it is still reasonable to deny that global warming is occurring?
Some of the politicians in the up coming presidential election do not support global warming: What is the reasoning behind this anti-climate change mentality? Do some politicians believe that global warming is occurring, but just choose to ignore it for political gain? How big of a role do you think global warming should play in this election? Is a politician’s stance on this issue play a role in if you vote for them or not come November?
