After reading about the daily lives of so many Europeans as portrayed in the Chapters 1A and 1B, identify one group that you think faces the most challenges in improving their status of human well-being.  Your choice may be based on a theme such as ethnicity, gender, rurality, age, religion, or nationality. 

1. Explain why you selected this particular group.
2. Identify the issues or policies that are marginalizing this particular group.  What is the kind of marginalization that the group is experiencing?
3. Suggest several ways to improve the lives of the particular group.
4. Suggest challenges that will be faced in bringing about the change.”
