HIV is a sexually transmitted virus that invades the body and symptoms show up when the body’s immune system is weakened. At this point, one is said to have AIDS. The symptoms include body sores, diarrhea, secondary infections such as pneumonia, and severe weight loss as the disease progress to a full-blown state (Henn et al. 2017).
Other viruses include Herpes Simplex which causes Genital Herpes. Invasion of the body by this virus produces symptoms that include: blisters and soft sores on affected areas.
