Access Resources

Required Resources
Note: The following Web sites contain a wealth of research, information, and knowledge, some of which you have already explored. In this module, you will have a chance to further explore these and other resources related to the developing child.
As you have been learning, quality professional resources can be invaluable. For this Discussion, you will have the opportunity to further explore the Web sites in this module’s Required Resources and also search out and share valuable resources related to child development that you have found on your own. You will combine your findings with those of your colleagues in order to create a professional resource file that you can continue to add to as you progress through the program.
In preparation for this Discussion, consider the kinds of knowledge, research, and insights about child development that interest and excite you. Then, choose one of the Web sites from the Learning Resources and find:
1. A particular section of that Web site that not only interested you, but that you believe will support your studies and future work
2. A particular article or document that you believe must be kept for future inspiration and reference
Next, conduct your own search for other Web sites and resources. Find at least two that have not been cited in any of the courses that you have taken thus far in your program. (Be sure to review Walden Library’s guidelines on how to evaluate resources for reliability.) Your goal during this module is to read five or more of your colleagues’ postings and create a resource file that contains both contributions that you have found, and five other entries from your colleagues.
