INSTRUCTIONS: Students have the option to write a 3-4 page essay in the Chicago Manual Style OR complete a 10-slide narrated PowerPoint presentation. The cover page, cover slide, and bibliography do not count towards page or slide count. Assignment files to be accepted are Microsoft Word DOC, Adobe PDF, Microsoft PowerPoint PPTX, or MP4. Links to Google Docs or Google slides need to be made public.
In your assignment, students need to introduce the time period, author, the author’s argument, and provide a summary of the book. Students may also include topics you found interesting or confusing—close your essay or presentation with your critique of the book.
