1. Do you think social media help people develop social capital in a beneficial way or do you think social media reinforce existing sociocultural and socioeconomic divides in ways that actually damage people’s ability to develop social capital? Why?
2. Give at least four examples of social media norms that you have seen communicated implicitly and/or explicitly on various social media platforms. Be as specific as possible in identifying the specific platform, explaining the norm, and analyzing the impact that norm has on communication on that platform.
