For your first writing assignment, you will be asked to write 1000 words in which you argue for your position on one of the case studies at the end of the first chapter. You are free to pick whichever of them you wish.
Your paper should consist of a clear introduction with an unambiguous thesis (in which you pick which “side” of the case you are on). You should identify three to four compelling reasons your side is the right on, being sure to engage with the moral frameworks in the introduction of the class (Aristotle, Kant or Bentham).
Please have a separate title page and reference page and cite at least three good sources in APA (no Wikipedia, etc.). No abstract is necessary. One of these sources must be a PEER REVIEWED JOURNAL ARTICLE. The paper is due by class on September 28.
