Introduction to contractor safety | Applied Sciences homework help

Category: Applied Sciences

Considering that contractors, subcontractors, independent contractors, and temporary workers come from all different backgrounds and cultural differences, how would you ensure that everyone on site understands the site safety program? What would you do if they spoke different languages? Understanding that multiple trades may be working together, how would you manage the program so that they do not create hazards for each other?

Denis:

In the construction industries, we often see people of different cultures and backgrounds, some of which understand just the English language and those who understand just Spanish. In some cases, we have bilingual ones. For everyone to understand the site safety program, I will separate the workers or employees from all the contractors into two groups is those who understand just Spanish group and those who understand both in the other group, the site safety program is being thought in the language that they will better understand.

You know each trade has the way their policy is being enforced. For this reason, I will hand the site safety program to each contractor to implement the site safety rules to prevent hazards on the job site such as injury and accidents.
