In 2013, Eastern Canada was hit by an ice storm, the city of Toronto was among Canada’s most heavily impacted urban centres. Using the research articles posted for Lecture 5 “ Urban Impacts of ice storms: Toronto December 2013” and “The weather of 2013” write a brief summary (250- 300 words) outlining the physical processes, the impacts, and Toronto’s response to the Ice Storm of 2013. The participation should reflect that you have used the research articles in your writing related to the lecture topic (lecture 5).
