Research and write an interesting, informative paper about an event. In order to find enough material to write on, it may be necessary to find 20 or more different sources. When you have settled on a story you wish to tell, go to the databases. LexisNexis is a good place to start because it will give you access to articles written at the time you are researching. MLA format and style are mandatory.
